Commemorative Series, circa 330-340. 1/3 Siliqua (Silver, 12 mm, 0.84 g, 12 h), Constantinopolis. Draped bust of Constantinopolis to right, wearing pearl diadem with semicircular extension and pearl necklace. Rev. Large K within pelleted circle. Bendall, Anonymous silver, RN 158 (2002), Type 5b. This and the following examples lack diadem ties behind the head and were recognized by Bendall as a separate type. The difference is perhaps due to individual engravers, or alternatively this type was struck on another, later occasion.
